The village is amphitheatrically built, in the shadow of Mount Lykaion and at an altitude of 750 metres, in a verdant landscape, near the borders of Ilia and Arcadia. Stone-built and majestic, Andritsaina bears the marks of conquerors, looters, wars and revolutions before becoming a remarkable commercial and cultural centre and maintaining nowadays robust tourist infrastructure.

The region of Andritsaina is also home to two beautiful mythical rivers, Alpheus and Neda.
