Kitesurf and Windsurf festival at Drepano
Drepano is one of the most popular waterboard sports destinations in Greece.
Every summer, Kitesurf enthusiasts meet up at Drepano for the ultimate action festival. Athletes from both Greece and abroad take part in the festival which has been held there since 2011 and is now a Kitesurf institution! You don’t have to be an athlete to enjoy the spectacle: thousands of visitors watch the breathtaking moves and take part in the many activities which take place during the festival.
Windsurfers also organize their own event in Drepano with two Slalom races being held there each year. Top-level athletes take part in the races which make for a unique spectacle, and the public can also watch other events which take place at the same time or try their hand at Windsurfing.
