Situated in the village of Lantzoi, in the wider area of Ancient Olympia, the Brindzikis Estate has been recognized as the first green winery in Greece. Using geothermal energy to meet cooling and heating needs, and with solar energy through photovoltaic panels ensuring its power supply, it has achieved a zero energy footprint.
Back in 1994, the Brindzikis couple decided to follow in the footsteps of the family viticultural tradition that started in 1932. As both of them are musicians, they transferred their artistic concerns to the production of unique wines, involving in certified organic cultivation and taking advantage of the ideal microclimate, resulting from soil composition and the moisture of the local watercourses.
In the 30 acres of privately-owned vineyards, native varieties are grown, such as the special local Tinaktorogos, Assyrtiko and Augoustiatis.
Brindzikis Estate, a boutique winery of outstanding quality and state-of-the-art technological equipment, also features excellent visitor infrastructure, including a neighboring renovated watermill, a 250-seat open-air theater and a guest house.
