On the coastline of the bay of Kyllini, in a northwest orientation and with a view to the island of Cephalonia, the beach of Manolada, unbeknownst to most even though heavenly, is a large, golden beach, due to its fine sand, situated almost 6km away from the settlement of Nea Manolada.
Partly serviced, with shallow and generally clear waters and very easily accessible, Manolada is a favourite mainly among local visitors, having lately started to claim a good share in the country’s tourism map.
In essence, it is part of an endless, continuous beach that also includes the wonderful beaches of Brinia, Falari and Kounoupeli.
It is also suitable for those looking for peace, since its size offers some isolated spots, while its most remarkable feature is that it is in large part surrounded by the renowned forest of Strofylia, with trees descending near the sea, composing a matchless natural landscape.
