The Patras Carnival is both the largest and the oldest carnival event in Greece and one of the largest in the world in terms of participation and history. It has been going on for 193 years.
On the day of the parade, the fun reaches a climax. Thousands of carnival enthusiasts fill the capital of the Carnival with their cheerfulness and liveliness.
The parade follows Korinthou Street, starting at Papaflessa Street and ending at Kilkis Street.
